Who??
I’m a Welsh person with an Irish name who now lives in Canada and is something of a Japanophile.
This site brings together my work interests and other things that come out of my pen and my camera.
My work usually involves helping organizations with larger or more complex projects and organization development, often when they involve working across teams and departments, with other organizations or with the general public. I do this via my consulting company (Impact and Value Consulting).
One of my areas of interest is helping people get hold of learning and development opportunities, who might otherwise not have easy access to them. This I do through Impact and Value, via a product called Pro Basics. This is having a bit of a refresh at the moment but the details will be back here soon, or you can just drop me a line for more information.
I also coach small business owners and senior managers in more specialist topics.
If I’m not doing all that I’m trying to be clever by writing about how organizations and people interact, or about how good a simple, slower life can be. Occasionally I make videos that help people relax.
They call me Dr Kidney but I’m not a clinician, so please don’t ask me about your bunions.
You’ll find more about what makes me tick on my blog, which gathers my words and pictures in one central place.
There is another Tyrone Kidney, but he doesn’t have a beard and lives in South Africa. I’m not him.
